A new tweet

A small flock of redwings has turned up this afternoon, around 15:45, dull but dry. Dry in the sense that it is not actually raining.

One of them was in the pyracantha in the usual way, stripping off some of the red berries, but the rest of them were foraging on the lawn below. Not something that I have see before. 

The red berries can be seen in the snap above, taken yesterday morning, on account of the plum blossom to their left, looking very bright and white in the early morning sunlight.
